Made it through the preface, twenty-some pages of a grown man narrating his own ADHD, and into chapter one of Eggers's memoir. The premise gets set up, barely. Then comes the angst, the medical grimness, and a swearing rate that beats mine, and I use language a printer jam wouldn't forgive. Not sure I open chapter two tonight. Not sure chapter two's earned it, and not sure I've earned the right to complain about it.
