This whole story reminds me so much of 'the story of O' by Pauline Reage. It's that same sh*tty 1950s way of writing erotica that generally just sucked, to be very blunt. This story is actually just now getting good, so it's perhaps not fair to completely slate its wider, broader literary genre right now. But it is the universal and overall truth, in my opinion. Wish I could've read more rn but my mind keeps straying
