Damn, I've been flabbergasted where Socrates said that the inferior child will be transported in an unknown place, like wtf......... I know what he was pointing out; on keeping the order and perfectness of the State, but damn....

Damn, it's been a while. But I've challenged myself today to finish the last 20 pages of Book IV, and it got me 2 hours and 35 minutes to finish. Onto Book V we go (another 3 months, I presume?)

I started from 11pm to 1:35 am.

why do I like starting something from "Damn?"

I'm too cooked to understand what Socrates and Adeimantus were talking abt in this part.....

FINALLY, I'm done with Book III

I realized that it's been a month since I read this part, which I think was February? Damn....... But I'm done. on we go to Book IV

This is the outline of Book III on what I remembered:
-details about the education, which is very detailed; so much information (music and gymnastics)
-censorships
- process of selection of the rulers
- the noble lie
- way of living of the guardians

Mostly done in book III.

It's been a while. I think I'm in the process of overcoming my reading slump. I hope I can finish this next month....

Man, Glaucon's opening argument in Book II is a strong argument at this point, maybe because we had the same view about justice.
You can really see the beauty of debates because of how they were working together to reach for an agreement or for the "truth."

Imma keep reading this to fully see how it unfolds. But overall, it's been a pretty interesting read, as it fully grasps your mind on the dialogues.
