Alexander just won the battle of the Hydaspes against Porus. I find amusing that Alexander so admired the courage of Porus - who kept fighting even though defeat was clear - that he sent messengers begging his enemy to surrender and be spared. Later, he gave Porus back his kingdom, with even more lands. What a man, incredible
