is metal slinger worth the read I bought it and heard mixed reviews

I enjoyed Metal slinger for the most part but had a hard time with the ending. Overall though I enjoyed Metal slinger enough to rate it 4 stars. I am disappointed with the sequel and am not sure Metal slinger is good enough to read knowing how the sequel turned out.

Thats what I heard from the other reviews. Trad books this year just aren’t it. I’ve had really bad luck with trad this year anti climatic endings and the in media res writing style openings with books in need of serious developmental edits. Trad publishing could take a lesson from indie authors on how to write good books

Yeah its a bummer I think all of the sequels that came out this year that I’ve read so far have been really disappointing

Yes even some first books in the series have endings that were anti climatic and no idea what the second book is gonna be about it’s getting annoying
