Wow…he sounds like a judgmental @hole…way to make it all her fault. Charlie is sounding like a real jerk! He just breezes through life and blames his issues on others, never seeing how he is contributing to his own problems and how he could have prevented them…

I’m really leaning towards a DNF on this one. This Charlie guy is starting to look like a bit of a jerk. Not happy with how he and his fellow interns decided to practice relocating a dislocated shoulder on an ether-ed patient, by repeatedly re-dislocating it while the patient was unconscious and unable to consent to being their practice dummy. Granted this was 1928, but wrong is wrong no matter the year.

It sounds like Charlie’s father is about to have a gruesome accident with an elevator. It would be the height of irony if his father, a pastor and insurance salesman, didn’t have life insurance himself. A father of five… I hope he doesn’t die, I stopped the audio because I couldn’t bear to hear it if he did die.
