Astrid, the main senior character in this book kinda reminds me of Gran, but only at parts. Dysfunctional family personalities mixed in with a little humor along the way

Although lots of potential and LOL moments… I anticipate a 3 star at most. The 70-year-old mom, who lost her husband almost two decades earlier, is quirky and comes out to her adult children about a secret lesbian relationship(not the main topic of book). The daughter, 38, is 5 months pregnant with a baby through IVF and single by choice… and two brothers with their family. It is a modern-day “Parenthood” movie
