Oh the childhood trauma. Chapter 3: "The Orphanage" is just unending misery and pain layered on top of each other. You can really feel just how heavy that is for a child, when she says it broke her you finally understand that phrase in a way you hadn't before. I want to go back and hug baby Leverne.
