For someone who is supposed to be in the "smart" pact, Meryn and annoyingly dense. The Authors characterization of her is confusing, she doesn't have a consistent POV or sense of self and it becomes frustration. I mean, my god the girl has multiple nicknames as if the author wanted those to be part of her personality as well.
