a little scared for this… i’ve been oscillating between reading this or not for at least a year now, & i keep seeing critiques that the pace is too slow, boring at times (if not mostly), and that the ending was lacklustre. however, the prose is supposed to be beautiful so you win some & lose some, i guess?
