i hate this part, we’re starting to see Lo’s true colors and i really don’t like it. he’s furious and then just a second after he’s calm and he even asks “what’s wrong?”? what? are you serious!? what do you think?! ugh! i forgot this little part! i don’t remember if this happens other times too but i surely hope not!

finally all i was waiting for! it is all about doubt, love, mystery. the descriptions were so clear and the scene was really perfect as a first for this protagonist! couldn’t imagine a better scenario for her!! this book is finally starting to go up!!

the start of the book might be kinda cringe from a 18yo pov, surely more for a younger audience (13/14) for its quirky description of the main character. other than that, it starts great, the author tells us the overall surroundings of Gioia and how she lives her life, also introducing another character that sounds important. the last 5 pages were great, Bove taught a great lesson with simple sweets. good for now!
