I have held off any comments on this book for sometime, but I cannot pull away from the feeling that Kingsnorth's complaining should be addressed. With a better vocabulary, but no shortage of misunderstanding of those on the right, Kingsnorth mulls on about how progress is the machine that chews humanity up and spits us out as products, while unaware of how he's fallen for the lie of the Overton window shift.
