i think i realized why i’m not drawn to love stories is because they’re too perfect. the love is too good to be true, the circumstances are too ideal even when they aren’t, they se to be the only two people in the world that matter. there’s nothing to grip onto, nothing tethered to reality that i can relate to at a reasonable level. however, this book is growing on me so much.
