The audiobook narration is still very dramatic, but I've become desensitised to the snark. Now I'm invested in what happens next. It's interesting that her husband and children are different people.

I do not recommend the audiobook version. Natalie's smug first person narration of the first chapter was "stop me in my tracks" annoying. I'm hoping that reading it instead allows me to enjoy the satire. I'm looking forward to the story
