I wish I had the context behind “An Open Letter to Mary Daly” because I’m lost here

The narrator kinda sounds robotic and it’s low-key distracting

“Notes From a Trip to Russia” is not what I was expecting at all- it’s essentially a travel diary? Very dry with a handful of cultural observations
