Finally escaping the treebeard chapter was like heaven on earth. I do like the characters but I was mind numbingly bored during this arc and wanted a little bit more action.

It was amusing when Gimli, Aragorn and Legolas attempted to kill Gandalf because to the reader it was excruciatingly obvious that it was him back from the dead.
