Havin a bit of trouble trying to understand Jim but definitely adds to the experience hearing the deep southern slave accent because it’s written that way

had to reread a few pages to get back in and so that i wont have to do that tmrw here’s what’s what: paps trynna kill huck in their cabin so huck aims his gun at pap while he’s asleep and waits for him to wake

I love this and luckily i don’t have that big of a problem with the language even tho it has some weird accents. some of the plot unfortunately goes missing to me and i don’t see the point in spending time trying to figure it out so i just skip it hope that doesn’t backfire on me
