This supernatural system is starting to look like an atheist's rationale for believing that there "is" an afterlife, while still rejecting the idea that God exists.

The grandiose supernatural episode feels more like a red herring than a big plot reveal.

Fourth-wall lecturing via a store owner: abortion clinic==women's heath care center. Gross; main character was unsympathetic to that perspective, at least.

Ah- main character checks out a book from Mike Hanlon at the Derry library. Not as over-done as the reference in 11/22/63, though.
