Apparently the series gets much better in book 4… but the descriptions of women don’t change.

I've just finished Book 2 and it's a fun series. But I've been blaming some of those parts of the books on this being almost 30 years old. And hoping it gets better!It's like old Nora Roberts books for me, the heroes almost always smoke because that was hot in the 80s/early 90s. Those parts don't age well.
Thanks for the heads up that it doesn't improve. But yeah, maybe I can just remember when it was written and let it go. Everything else is pretty intriguing...
