No joke, the book does get better from chapter 21 onwards.

I can appreciate McCormac trying super hard to describe gruesome tragedies and killings but there's really only so many ways to murder humans and animals alike. If some of the killed characters had any depth, you'd at least care for them.

Spent around 30 mins on pages 262-264 and im still not sure i understand. I wrote so many notes in this book i might claim co-authorship.

If i had a nickel for everytime the judge lifted a big fat rock, i'd have three nickels. Which isn't much, but its weird that it happened 3 times already.

I need to start appreciating mccormac's lengthy descriptions of landscapes. Because it's either that or "oh my god why?! this is horrible, what is happening, why would someone write a book like that??" type shit
