It’s frustrating me that i’m hate Claire sm. I wasn’t given a chance to grieve with her so all her sadness over Connar is just reading as dramatic and is ticking me off. Like could we get some flashbacks pls? A reason to feel for you and grieve Connar? She just reads as a dramatic sob story and Connar as a toddler. I want to feel for them but I just get annoyed whenever it’s Claire’s pov. Like rlly annoyed

Guys ngl this is turning into a slow hard read for me. I love everything but loathe Claire so freaking much. It’s so good except for her. I may mark as dnf and return to later when I can get it in a physical copy

Okay so… this book feels SO dramatic

I haven’t been given a chance to connect with her character at all so all her grief and sadness feels like she’s just being melodramatic. Everything is just about how she’s being ripped to pieces by the loss but atp I don’t really care.

I feel more for Peter bc he’s a character I know and love. But still thus far the whole book feels so dramatic.

girl why not like.. jump off a bed or something ??😭😭 that’s what they did in the peter pan movie…. no need to escalate so quickly and fling yourself from a two story window 😭😭
