A dense and challenging book that is the archetype of the Cyberpunk genre. Not what I would call fun but certainly an education, and definitely a good backstory to re-discover some classic movies (Matrix and Blade Runner). Well worth reading but be prepared to work at it.

Kick off, for my romp through classic dystopian literature. I'm thinking: Neuromancer, Brave New World and 1984 - back-to-back - to see if they still stack up, and just how well the authors did at predicting the future. Thanks, Horst, for the inspiration.
