Elara and vail end up breaking the curse. He kills her? She comes back. They end up having kids. She grows old and dies. He is still death and cannot die. Book ends with him with one of his descendants that’s a surgeon so he can tell her if they are dying. Really liked book one but couldn’t get into book 2.
