THIS IS BORING AS SHIT 😭😭AND ITS NOT EVEN WRITTEN WELL

i don’t really remember what page i’m on but i think i have to stop reading this 😭i just read the N word about 10 times in maybe two paragraphs. two paragraphs that were maybe three sentences long each. ew

i know now that they’re all in france, but every 2 sentences there’s some french city or building or cafe just name dropped and like…did everyone just have context for these at the time that the book released? bc i don’t know what any of these are and this book is 100 years old 🧍‍♀️i just feel lost
