I really wish this crime was for other reason than money and power. Maybe about the old religion? But I'm liking so far, I think it's my favorite setting of all 3 books in the series

I think I'm also learning with Ana because some of her questions were mine, too. I'm still feeling the Twin Peaks vibes, I'm finding the setting so interesting, I want to know more about the old religion lore. But what I'm most interested is that new character that suddenly appeared. Can't wait to read more tomorrow.

The way Ana talks about the dead pretty girl reminded me of Missing White Woman Syndrome. Don't know if the author thought about this (and if so, it's very smart), or if it's a coincidence. I'm also wondering what Ana would think about Twin Peaks, considering her early opinions of the case. And if the case is Romeo and Juliet got together but were more focused on politics/religion
