I’m not gonna lie whenever someone has mentioned in any capacity the fact that the suitors in this poem stage a bum fight I’ve been like “that’s super weird” and now I’m reading the actual poem myself and it’s definitely not less weird than I imagined.

Ngl Odysseus has been in Ithaca for far too many chapters for there to still be nearly 20% of this poem left 😂
