The plot of this book is very, very long. I do not think this book is worth 700 pages, not even the 300 I have read. This book was highly rated on BookTok, but I see why it's so low on Goodreads. These two individuals, Darien and Loren, have the slowest and most boring of slow burns. They are running around the city together, her trying not to get killed, and for what? A tiny mystery?
