I really enjoyed the beginning but then it felt like they just started liking each other so fast? Like where was the tension, the buildup? But to be fair I read it right after who hears the waters call and the buildup and hate in that is insaneeee so might be a tough act to follow

I also didn’t love the ending of this which is too bad because I enjoyed the actual overall plot for the most part. TBD on book 2
