1. this is surely egwene’s book
2. i had this opinion before THAT chapter : “egwene, all of your chapters go by soooo quickly. If i’m not going to surrender before fighting, I might as well go on to the battle.”
3. sorilea’s words to egwene before she leaves are so heartwarming : We are always more afraid than we wish to be but we can always be braver than we expect.

i need to finish this book in 3 days. but around this mark is when it’s starting to click. when the humanity of Rand al Thor & the Ogier comes to light.

god i love mat cauthon. his interaction with little orvel was so heartwarming. and i admire how RJ focuses on tiny details like the dance steps of Mat with Betse, and the joke Rand cracked with Maidens. things like these might be annoying to some, but it fully immerses me into the world and the reading experience

loving the prologue so far but hate that i don’t have the time to finish it one go. faile and perrin again my heart’s so full, and faile is so cool. also gawyn’s my blood shed before hers; my life given before hers seems like the quote that inspired the breath exchange in sanderson’s warbreaker? i won’t be surprised if that’s the case and i really want to find out
