Finished the second chapter. Why is it so much darker? I do have some favorite quotes, and I find it interesting-the way he describes death is so simple yet it hurts somehow. Maybe because of Christianity and my belief that death is simply a gift to return home, seeing it put as simply “the work of nature” is a little.. insensitive? But very interesting and forward. I like it.

What the fuck.
“Reflect like this: you are old, do not consent to be a slave any longer.”
I now have the first quote which I want to turn into a tattoo. Can’t wait to talk about it with B. I’m smiling from ear to ear in the cafe. After five hours of a tiring meeting this book is getting me excited.
