CH 6: PRE-READING THOUGHTS: I think that this chapter will be good. Although I am pretty comfortable and "settled" Into who I am, I do think that the author could provide valuable insight.

Was a pretty straightforward chapter. Brought up personal experiences, her story a bit, the history of Asperger's, why functioning labels do not inherently exist and why they are not helpful, and tips on how to support yourself, others, and kids.

CH 5: POST-READING - like how author immediately brought up in the introduction of the chapter about how mental health is usually immediate thought in a "negative" connotation or in the terms of "poor" mental health. This is extremely true. It caught my attention and made me think about how we should recenter our conversations and try to focus on the positive aspects of mental health. Overall, this chapter was meh.

Ch 4: the author focuses on the importance -- and difficulty -- of friendship for neurodivergent folks, especially when they/you may feel like the "extra" cast person rather than the main character. The author brings up the point of Disney characters at the beginning of the chapter multiple times.

CH 4: POST-READING THOUGHTS
—————————————————
This has to be by far my most favorite chapter so far. A few things stood out to me which I will mention (in other little snippets).

CH 3: PRE-READING THOUGHTS: This will be a good chapter. I always had imaginary friends growing up. I also always felt like an outsider and have felt careful about making friends and have been selective, too. I am curious of the author's experience as well as what her insights are.

CH 3: POST-READING THOUGHTS: I did not relate to that chapter too much. I guess I have some stemming behavior but that is about it. Still interesting to listen to and I can take some lessons from it.
