This book was better than I thought it was gonna be but the last 30% I would say it was really hard to get through. Mainly because the girl was super annoying and just holding everyone at such a high standard. She also wanted her parents, love when they’ve never given her any and surprise surprise they weren’t her parents in the end which I totally knew.

Plus that last chapter honestly was way underwhelming. It felt like a last-minute grab Chen the book on a cliffhanger. It needed more set up. It needed more stuff going on rather than Roman. Just saying I found out stuff we need to leave and then he dies. Overall, I give it a four star. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I won problem was I just felt like there was no character development for the main girl like at all. She kept saying it’s not right that they keep killing people, but then they kept killing children and she just stood by occasionally having a panic attack, but didn’t really do anything about it. I also don’t believe Theo killed Roman.
