Sanderson writes in the simplest style I've ever seen but the book has significantly improved from the first half

Reads like a mix between Marvel comics and World of Warcraft novels in writing style, and while I do mean that derogatorily, the world building is interesting enough to continue. I hear also the 2nd book is spectacular so I'll at least read the first 2 books even if I really dislike it.
