Ah, this guy was a guest of honour at Finncon recently, and I bought two other books of his. I'd barely heard of him before. Have you read him previously?

Have you read him previously?"Yes, I’ve read a bunch of his books—Shadows of the Apt series & the related short fiction (fantasy), Children of Time series except for the newest book (science fiction), Shroud & Cage of Souls, both stand-alone science fiction novels. Cage of Souls was my least favorite but I have really liked everything else.
