The tone and scares in this book are much more in line with what I want from a goosebumps sequel series than the last couple of entries. I like that Carly Beth has grown from her previous books but is now dealing with both the Monster Mask from the despicable caped Shopkeeper and a ghost from the masks past that wants to knock Carly Beth out of the picture
