Lo and his sarcasm I adore him

“The pact,” Lily hisses. “What if Rose put a curse on me? I can’t say anything.”
“You can’t be that fucking superstitious.”
“Rose might as well be a supernatural force when she’s upset. You haven’t seen her truly angry, so you can’t say anything.”
“I’ve seen her so fucking pissed that she almost tased my brother, how’s that?”

Rose Calloway Cobalt. A queen.🫶🫶

“Like I told Lo, I’ve made this pact with Rose not to talk about it, like a Ya-Ya Sisterhood thing, and I can’t go back on my word. And just so you know, Rose is scary. She took out a knife and was saying something about blood oaths, and before I knew it, she slit my palm.” Her voice lowers, almost comically that it’s hard to take her serious. But she is.

Rose is so dramatic I love her so much.

Ryke & Sully. My favorite heartbreaking friendship in this series I really missed them😭😭😭😭

The minute she sees him, her whole body lifts, and my brother—he wears a smile that’s rare in anyone else’s presence but hers. I’ve never really seen love until I saw them together, truly.

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH:

She lets out an irritated scream. “Why is this so fucking heavy?” (Rose)

“You would if they tried to rape you,” Rose retorts.
They’re so fucking dramatic. “No one is going to rape the two of you.” Just like that, both Connor and Lo reach over the table to try and steal the phone from my hand.

“Rose got a flat tire, and she refuses to call a tow truck.”
“I can fix it myself.” Rose’s icy voice bleeds through the speaker. […]
“She’s in five-inch heels,” Lily notes. “I am impressed. I really am, but it’d be even more impressive if she knew what she was doing.”
“I can read,” Rose says. “I have the manual right here. I don’t need a man to show me how to fix a f***ing tire.”

“Well, be damn fucking sure about this,” Ryke says, “any love that I fucking give will never hurt a woman.” He passes the bowl to me, cold in my hands. “Eat your cereal.”

Ryke is just so selfless and protective I can’t believe I forgot how much I genuinely adore him
