I like the parts where Woolf reflects on the passage of time
Although it is very very clear that this was written with one person in mind; this fact is hammered home quite brutally by the end notes which I try to resist reading. Perhaps this detracts a bit from my first reading, especially because I’m reading it more for pleasure than enlightenment, etc. etc.
