so far this book is about a woman in an unhappy marriage. boringgg bored bored bored i dont care. i don't feel sympathetic to this main character i think shes pretentious and unlikable so far. also this (cis female) author drew 4 gender categories and they were trans men, women, nonbinary people, and men. hm. not fond of that distinction.
