maybe ive become too woke after my hiatus, but the woman repeatedly saying no—even if begrudgingly so, that it looks fake—and the man persistently pursuing her isnt acceptable to me anymore. a no means a no, even if she doesnt look entirely convinced by it herself. i dont want any "you dont know what you want so ill keep on pushing till you say yes". it is belittling and maybe this is why i have never liked bad boys.
