The “Spring Flowers of Distant Day” chapters were so good! Guts is such an interesting character! I wonder why elves seem drawn to him. I didn’t expect that we’d see Rickert and Erica but I’m glad of it! And it seems like they’re heading to Falconia (Windham previously). The world indeed is changing! Cockatrice and harpies (among other things) run rampant. And only Falcons is protected…interesting!

I want Guts and the others to reach Elfhelm so bad! And I want to see Casca get her memories and her mind back! I really do. And the author is dragging it out! I can’t wait to get to it!

Farnese can do healing magic too now? That’s handy! I love her! The last few pages of this chapter “Shooting Star” were really beautiful! I don’t think that this kid is just an emissary from the elf king. He might honestly be. But why does he look so much like Guts and Casca? THAT’S THEIR BABY!!!! Or maybe I’m delusional. I guess I’ll have to continue reading on to find out!
