Probs wont finish. I was gonna read the lawrence browne affair but i found out thats by the same author.
Well obviously im not the target demographic, i dont like historical-fiction, but the characters are so… half-made. And the guy, Courtenay or whatever, has potential but he’s just. So… i dont know… something is missing.

The problem with cat sebastian’s books, is that she describes people and attraction in such a dull way. Its always: ‘he was so incredibly handsome, and so muscular, beautiful jawline’. I can only imagine handsome squidward.
I said i’d never read another romance again after attempting ‘the ruin of a rake’. However, i need to find out if they clean this house. That would be satisfying.

Yes, this book is more like a gay romance written for women, rather than, a good book. People rating this any more than 3 stars are out of their mind.
And the head-hopping, that I dont mind, but the way POVS are split by random paragraph breaks, THATS tiring.
