Kierkegaard defines anxiety: "the self-awareness of the finite self as finite.” I find this to be a painfully accurate definition, especially when considering time as an "anchor" for our accomplishments, goals, and place in the world. As Zapffee says in “The Last Messiah,” time is an apparatus for distraction from the absurdity of life. But what would happen if we freed ourselves from the shackles of temporality?
