What I say cannot be repeated,” and the book loses me, because the seal of confession applies to ordained priests, which Mack is not, and why he, a man who clearly has thought deeply about his relationship to the priesthood, would feel bound by it is beyond me. Maybe it will be explained later. For now it is a spindly thing to rest your plot upon. The writing is good.
