I remember that being my general impression of everything I've read by Bester. I wouldn't call his work "accessible" in a traditional sense.

I didn't think Stars My Destination was that bad.
I didn't say "bad" -- merely that they're inaccessible.
That's what I meant with "bad" in this context. As in it didn't feel that inaccessible.
