This book brought me back in time. The woman was a city girl who became a farm wife. I was a farm girl who became a city girl. However, she did it in the 1940s, and I was in the 1960s, 70s & 80s. Enjoyed the book; the writing was entertaining and accurate. It simply brought me back to the cornfields in Minnesota and the love and hard work that goes into working the land. People were kind to each other back then.
