This book is utterly beautiful.
In a world of good and bad. I don’t see any of these people as good.
But in a world of humanness - this book depicts humanness so unabashedly. The things we do in the shadows. The people we become when an apathy of life sets in. The stubbornness within oneself that fuels foul behavior even when we believe our actions to be just.
I love this read.

Immediately loving this one. Evokes unpleasant emotions in a moderately intoxicating way.
I do not like any of the people in this book. I hate the narrators perspective of life and am worried for the wife. The family is also unpleasant and lacks understanding. All of this makes the read that much more engrossing.
Very excited to continue this read
