Drunk Mom is the uni reading that has stuck with me the most through the years, it felt like a bucket of ice was thrown over my head when I read it. I was sad to hear Bydlowska had a follow-up memoir dealing with relapse given the hell she’s been through in addiction, but I remember how raw and honest Drunk Mom was and look forward to reading something that poignant and true again.
