this book made me realize how good of a man ewan is. don’t get me wrong i loved him in the trilogy but i always thought that he was keeping tobias and aria apart. now i see how much he cares for his people and i think i love him even more for it. also i can’t accept the fact that he dies in the web of silence duet. he deserved so much better.

im contemplating stopping this book because i don’t want to ruin the picture that i have of tobias from the trilogy. don’t get me wrong i’m invested and all of that but i’m starting to feel mentally unwell because of all the shit that’s happening in this book. i knew that their relationship was messy and toxic but i didn’t realise it was THIS toxic.
