The introduction spoils the entire book. It gives an extremely detailed explanation of the house, what it does to its I habitants, behaviors that Nell goes on to do and actions she takes… everything you can think of. I would be angry if I didn’t already know the story from watching the tv show. Hopefully the rest of the book makes up for the introduction spoiling everything.
