I’m obviously less than a quarter of the way through, but this book sucks. The main character is annoying, and half the chapters so far are either irrelevant backstories or obscure pop culture references that just seem to be nostalgia bait. I hate the main character, and he deserves anything bad that happens to him in the rest of the book.
